Remembrance Network Information Session (Dial-In)

The Epilepsy Foundation New England is in the process of developing a “Remembrance Network” to support individuals and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) or an epilepsy related death.  Under the direction of the Resource and Support Services Coordinator, the Network will be comprised of volunteers who have themselves lost a loved one to epilepsy and would like to share their personal experience of loss and recovery to help others through this very difficult journey.

This Information Session is for individuals who may be interested in becoming Remembrance Network volunteers and would like to learn more.

Kids Connect is a program for roughly 'middle school aged' children who are affected by epilepsy. We launched this program to give kids a space where they could be themselves, enjoy activities and make new friends!

Join Us on Friday, October 26th for an overnight at the Museum of Science in Boston, MA 

$55 per person. Some scholarship assistance may be available. 
5th-8th Grade
Doctor's permission required
Registration and payment due Thursday, October 4th.
Arrival and registration is from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
Program officially ends at 11:00 AM.

Educational Programming and Activities include:
-Hands-on science activities led by professional Museum staff
-Science Theater production 
-Late night science presentation
-Planetarium show
-Omni Theater Show
-Lightning Show (Seizure Warning) 
-Evening Snack and continental breakfast. Dinner not provided.
-Participants may eat dinner before they arrive, bring food, or purchase dinner at the museum. 
-Passes. One pass per participant for a free return visit to the Exhibit Halls and a Planetarium will be included in the group package.

Adult Meet Up Summer 2018

Meet Up Summer 2018 for Adults with epilepsy.

Come hang out, meet other adults living with epilepsy, enjoy some music and conversation.

Free summer concert in the courtyard at the Boston Public Library with Mario Escalona. Mario is a drummer, percussionist, singer, and arranger from Caracas, Venezuela. He has performed in many prestigious halls in Venezuela. During his time at Berklee College, he has become an in-demand musician in Boston and New York City, allowing him to play in students’ recitals, visiting artists’ master classes, recording sessions, and other projects and events outside the school.
