My name is Maddie Taubkin and I am an AmeriCorps Community Health Worker serving the Epilepsy Foundation New England at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. I am originally from Clifton Park, NY, and recently moved to Somerville, MA! I attended the University of Vermont for undergrad where I majored in Health Sciences and minored in Food Systems. I am currently continuing my education with UVM through pursuing an Accelerated Master of Public Health. I was drawn to EFNE because of their strong commitment to improving quality of life and promoting health equity for people living with epilepsy; missions that I will continue to integrate into my public health career.
