"HELP for Today, HOPE for Tomorrow"

Happy New Year

We heard from many of you last year, with your thanks for the Epilepsy New England community:

"We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do to make our lives better."

"I have never seen him so happy."

"My son felt so alone. Through the Young Leaders Network, he doesn't feel like his epilepsy means his 'normal' life is over."

"I got a job! You guys are the best. Thank you for your advice and encouragement!"

"I really needed help with life. I didn't know where to turn. Thank you for paying my electric bill - it's a huge relief."

Your support makes it possible. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, this year was a transformative year for Epilepsy Foundation New England in so many ways and there is still time to give.

GIVE NOW

Middlesex Community College Students Donate Profits

Students in two Introduction to Entrepreneurship courses at Middlesex Community College spent a semester evaluating, planning, and launching a small business. At the end of the semester they gave final business pitches to a panel of community judges at a 'Shark Tank'-style competition. All of the profits were donated to various non-profit organizations, including Epilepsy Foundation New England. We thank the students who created 'Sky Tea', a bubble tea and macaroon company, for their generous donation. 'Sky Tea' won first place in voting by the judges.

Do-It-Yourself (DIY)

Just like the students at Middlesex, by hosting a DIY event to benefit EFNE, you can help raise funds and awareness for the 100,000+ New Englanders living with epilepsy. With your help, EFNE can reach more supporters in your community helping improve the lives of those who have epilepsy.  There are many ways that you can help raise awareness and funds – everything from a golf tournament at your local course to a dining out night at local restaurant, to a bake sale. Any way that you can help raise funds and awareness for epilepsy is greatly appreciated! Visit the DIY page on our website for tips and ideas.
