Epilepsy Foundation New England is Growing
The Epilepsy Foundation is growing, and over the past few months a number of new staff have been hired to help us fulfill our mission to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

Mark Censky will help expand our growing employment program as a Career Resource Specialist. David Searles, Events Specialist, is working in our development department to grow our events across the region. Michael Paglia is our new Communications and Grants Specialist.

Read more about the new members of our team on the staff page of our website.

Camp Matty a "Galloping" Success

From August 7 through August 10 the amazing staff from the Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center and many volunteers helped make 'Camp Matty' a big success. Our campers were able to ride some patient horses every day and in between rides play games, work on arts and crafts projects, and just enjoy the outdoors during some beautiful summer weather. Thanks to all involved: our funders, supporters, volunteers, staff, and the riding center.

CDC Reports More People Than Ever Have Epilepsy

According to a new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, national estimates for active epilepsy cases are now available for all 50 states. Public health practitioners, health care providers, policy makers, epilepsy researchers, and other epilepsy stakeholders including family members and people with epilepsy, can use these findings to ensure that evidence-based programs meet the complex needs of adults and children with epilepsy and reduce the disparities resulting from it. Read the study here.

All welcome to every event, regardless of the state in which you reside.
