Epilepsy Foundation New England is excited to bring the opportunity for young people ages 12 -17 to express themselves through art. Youth will work with art therapists in a group setting to create artistic pieces through a variety of activities, and learn from others in an open, welcoming environment.

 Why Art Therapy?

Art is a natural way to communicate, relieve tension and express emotions. There are some things that many kids (and even adults!) cannot find the words to describe and art makes that easier. At the same time, kids are generally less guarded through art and may be able to communicate ideas more clearly.

Studio E provides kids an opportunity to express emotions through fun and engaging activities. It builds a sense of community and connection, gives a voice to kids with epilepsy and helps kids connect with other kids their age who also experience epilepsy.
