As a child “Mighty Mike” struggled with his motor skills such as hopping, skipping and jumping as a result from having Epilepsy and seizures. At age 7 his father introduced him to basketball to help improve his motor skills. As a result “Mighty Mike” showed major improvements and excelled in the sport. As an adult “Mighty Mike” is taking medication and living a healthy and active life style. He is currently playing professional basketball for the Harlem Wizards. Bounce Out the StigmaProject is a FREE basketball clinic facilitated by “Mighty Mike” for children ages 8 to 17.

Bounce Out the StigmaProject is open but not limited to those with disabilities. His focus is to give the youth (ages 8-17) a chance to use basketball as a tool to gain confidence and self-empowerment.
