Epilepsy Awareness Day at the Rhode Island State Capitol

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

Meet your legislators.

Help increase epilepsy awareness.

Be part of a growing network of individuals and families who "Speak  Up and Speak Out" for epilepsy.

Why Come?

OUR STATE GOVERNMENT: Rhode Island has a new Governor, 75 House Representatives and 38 Senators in Providence who need to be educated about epilepsy!  This year we’re focusing on the importance of epilepsy awareness and access to medications and services for people living with epilepsy in Rhode Island.  During our State Day, advocacy training and materials will be available and lunch will be provided!

What can I do?

April 26th is a day to empower people affected by seizures by bringing essential information about epilepsy to our Rhode Island state senators and representatives.

Effective grassroots lobbying includes many people and a consistent message. This day is to raise epilepsy awareness and advocate for issues impacting your life, or your loved ones.
