Directly out of high school I followed my love for Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy and got my certification in Mortuary science. I soon discovered that working with the dead was not the career for me. I then went on to pursue my teaching certificate and became a kindergarten teacher! While I loved working with the kids, I soon wanted more opportunities and a challenge. I then went back to school and got my bachelors majoring in Public Health with a focus in maternal and child health. I now am currently earning my master's degree in public administration. After completing my Masters I intend on earning my doctorate in family medicine. In my free time I like to spend bonding time with my two son's. I also enjoy dabbing in new workout routines. I have a DIY addiction! Gardening, building furniture for my home, and cooking. I also enjoy reading, hiking, and anything that allows me to have the sun on my face! A fun fact about me in that for the past three summers I’ve done an internship with Brown University. During that internship I taught STEM to pre-college students. My favorite part about working at the Epilepsy Foundation of New England is that I have never worked for an organization that is so thoughtful and dedicated to their mission. I appreciate the endless knowledge and support I receive from my supervisors. I intend on using all the knowledge and experience I have learned from the epilepsy foundation of new England to grow and succeed on future endeavors. Every moment working at the Epilepsy foundation of New England is rewarding!
